How do I use this Success Binder to help my child? The Success Binder offers a wide range of engaging methods for implementation, ensuring a fun and effective learning experience. Make the most of it by: Explore the Contents: Take the time to thoroughly explore the contents of the Success Binder. Encourage your child to pore over the box, examining all the materials inside. This will help build excitement and anticipation for the learning journey ahead. Understanding the Concept of Success: Engage in a conversation with your child to explain the concept of success. Discuss how the activities in the binder will help them grow, learn, and achieve their goals. Emphasize the importance of effort, perseverance, and a positive mindset in the pursuit of success. Designate a Special Time: Set aside a designated time for completing an activity page in the Success Binder. It could be a daily routine or every other day, depending on what works best for you and your child's schedule. Consistency is key in creating a habit of active learning. Introduce the Activity: Before starting each activity page, read out the title (e.g., "I Know My Colors") to set the purpose and objective of the activity. If there is an affirmation associated with that activity, encourage your child to repeat it. This will create a positive and focused mindset for learning. We Do then You Do: Follow the "We Do then You Do" method to guide your child through the activity. Start by helping them complete the task, demonstrating the correct steps or providing guidance as needed. Then, allow them to try on their own, fostering independence and confidence. Embrace Mistakes as Learning Opportunities: Remind your child that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process. If they make an error, reassure them that it's okay and encourage them to try again. The enclosed board eraser can be used to wipe off any mistakes, allowing for a fresh start. Celebrate Success: Regardless of the outcome, make it a point to celebrate your child's efforts and achievements. Praise their progress, acknowledge their hard work, and recognize their growth. Encourage a positive mindset towards learning and foster a sense of pride in their accomplishments.

How long does the Success Binder last? Our Success Binders are created from high-quality and durable materials, ensuring their longevity. The entire binder is dry erase making it sustainable and reusable. Help maintain your binder for lifetime of use: After each use, make sure to fully erase the marker ink from all pages. You can use the eraser provided with the binder or a soft fabric to wipe away the markings. This step is crucial to keep the pages clean and ready for future use. Exclusive Use of Dry Erase Markers: To preserve the integrity of the binder, never use permanent markers, pens, pencils, or any writing utensils other than dry erase markers. Using inappropriate writing tools may damage the surface and compromise its reusability. Periodic Cleaning: Periodically wipe the pages of the binder with a damp cloth to remove any residual marks or stains. Afterward, ensure that each page is fully dried using a paper towel or a clean, dry cloth. Handle with Care: It is essential to keep the binder and its accessories away from unsupervised small children to prevent accidental damage or misuse. Additionally, avoid exposing the binder to extreme heat, as it may compromise the integrity of the materials. By adhering to these care instructions, you can maximize the lifespan of your Success Binder and enjoy its sustainable and reusable benefits for years to come.

Why is there a crown in the box?The crown can be worn by your child, just like the two characters on the front of our binder. As your child recites the positive affirmations contained in this binder, encourage them to wear their very own crown. The association of the regal headgear, and the positive words they speak over themselves and their abilities will help to instill positive self belief leading them toward self actualization!

How can my child benefit from this being a non - digital resource? While we recognise and affirm the place technology in education, our binder contains activities which are impossible to recreate online. For example, the fine motor skills needed for tying shoe laces will allow your child to practice an important mile-stone life skill, and reap the feeling of independence and success that comes from that. The hand eye coordination required for correct letter formation, using a ruler to measure, and interacting with sight words are all amplified by the physical act of doing so. Additionally, rapid nature of technology can lead to a shortened attention span. Feeling disconnected? OSLS activities promote opportunities for socialization and positive interactions with your child.
